Your Second Visit to Our Chelmsford Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Typically however, treatment will begin after we study your health history and correlate it with our examination findings. We will make recommendations for treatment designed to maximize your return to health. This will involve both in-office procedures as well as your "home work." We call this "The Team" approach. It’s what works best.

This is usually done on your second visit. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
