We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough history and examination will help identify the cause of your problem. Sometimes x-rays are needed to clarify the clinical picture. If this is your situation, it will be explained to you. We use Village Radiology to provide our patient’s x-ray needs. They are conveniently located right next-door to our practice.

Depending on the complexity of your condition and / or your pain level, you may receive treatment on this visit. It just depends on your unique situation.

Patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
